Hi, I’m Alicia — a devoted birthworker, longtime educator, and lifelong nurturer at heart. With over 20 years of experience as a teacher, I bring patience, steady guidance, and a deep love of learning into every space I hold for families. Education has always been my calling, and birthwork feels like a natural extension of that — helping parents feel informed, prepared, and confident as they step into a new chapter.

As the owner of Full Bloom’s doula training cohort, I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with compassion, intuition, and trauma-responsive care. I believe birth is both beautifully physiological and profoundly transformative. My role is to create a calm, grounded presence where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to trust your body and your decisions.

I’m also a proud mother to my adult daughter, Heather, whose journey into womanhood deepened my appreciation for the lifelong impact of gentle, supported beginnings. At home, I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time in quiet reflection, and sharing life with my three beloved cats — Langston, Riley, and Harper.
