    Kaiser Permanente: Eligible California plans cover specified services from contracted doulas. Check your Evidence of Coverage or call Kaiser Member Services at 1-800-464-4000 to confirm your benefits. Kaiser’s guidance states that a doctor’s referral is not required.

    Covered doula visits and labor support differ from private-pay packages. Overnight care, yoga, ceremonies, placenta services, and other add-ons should not be assumed to be covered. Confirm the scope and any private-pay costs with Alicia before booking.

    Medi-Cal and employer benefits: Verify your plan’s provider requirements, covered services, visit limits, and claim process. We can discuss documentation needed for your plan; reimbursement is determined by the benefit provider.
